Using Vexluno

Are my images uploaded?

No. Vexluno's tools process images inside your browser, on your own device. Your images are never sent to our servers or to anyone else. The only network traffic is the website itself being downloaded, like any other web page.

Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Is Vexluno free?

Yes. Every tool is free to use with no limits on how often you use it, and there is nothing to subscribe to.

Do I need an account?

No. There are no accounts and no sign-up. Open a tool, add your images and download the results.

What image formats are supported?

You can add JPG (JPEG), PNG and WebP images, and save results as JPG, PNG or WebP. HEIC, GIF, AVIF and SVG are not supported yet.

Can I compress multiple images at once?

Yes. You can add up to 100 images in one batch. Each one is processed in turn, and you can download them individually or all together as a ZIP file that is also created in your browser.

How much can I reduce an image?

It depends on the image. Large photos straight from a camera or phone often shrink by more than half at the default quality, and resizing them for the web saves much more. Images that were already compressed may barely change. If Vexluno cannot make a file smaller, it gives you back the original instead of a bigger file.

Does compression reduce image quality?

JPG and WebP compression is lossy, so some detail is removed, but at the default quality of 80 the difference is very hard to see. Lossless PNG compression keeps every pixel. Use the Compare button to check each result before you download it.

Does Vexluno work on mobile?

Yes. The tools work in current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Samsung Internet on phones and tablets. Phones have less memory than computers, so very large images or big batches may need to be processed a few at a time.

Is there a file size limit?

Each image can be up to 50 MB and 64 megapixels, and you can add up to 100 images per batch. These limits keep the browser from running out of memory.

Which image format should I use for websites?

WebP is usually the best choice for websites: it produces smaller files than JPG or PNG at similar quality and supports transparency. Use JPG when a platform does not accept WebP, and PNG for graphics that must stay pixel-perfect.

Does Vexluno remove metadata such as location?

Yes, for every file it creates. Re-encoded images do not include EXIF data such as camera details or GPS location. The exception is when a file could not be made smaller and Vexluno gives you the original back unchanged; that file keeps its original metadata.
