JPG to WebP
Convert JPEG photos to the lighter WebP format.
Convert WebP images to JPG so they open in any app, editor, printer or upload form. Saved an image from a website and it won't open? This turns it into a standard JPG.
Your images stay on your device. They are processed by your browser and never uploaded. How this works
WebP, up to 50 MB each. You can also paste an image.
Older photo editors, office software and many forms still expect JPG.
Quality 90 keeps the converted image faithful to the WebP.
Images saved from the web stay on your device during conversion.

If your WebP has a transparent background, for example a logo or cut-out product, convert it to PNG with the Image Converter to keep the transparency.
Many websites serve WebP because it loads faster. When you save the image, you get the file the site sent, which is often WebP.
Often a little, because JPG is less efficient. Lower the quality to around 80 if you need a smaller file.
JPG cannot store transparency, so those areas are filled with the background colour you choose. To keep transparency, convert to PNG with the Image Converter instead.
